HMRC backtrack on plans reduce information sent to agents

03 December 2010

As previously announced, to reduce costs HMRC are to withdraw agent copies of some paper forms. Instead, agents will be reliant on obtaining copies from their clients. Following discussions with agents, advisers and representative bodies, HMRC have announced that forms P800, SA250 and SA251, agent copies of which were to be withdrawn, will continue to be sent to agents for the time being.

Full details of the forms in respect of which the agent copy is to be withdrawn and the date of the withdrawal are available on the HMRC website.
